Asphalt Division Manager
Esch Landscaping, LLC is a growing residential and commercial landscape design/build firm located near the beautiful shores of Lake Huron on Saginaw Bay. Position Overview
This is a full-time position. The Asphalt Division Manager must possess strong management skills and have an ability to lead a team of approximately 10 people. Our asphalt division focuses on light commercial and residential driveways, parking lots, crack fill and line striping. Must be able to operate a variety of machines, complete site prep, and install asphalt and base materials. The asphalt manager must have a proficientunderstanding of asphalt construction. He or she would report to the Operations Manager.
Key Duties:
• Lead, Manage, and be Accountable for the division and team members
• Communicate well with all members of the team, specifically the Operations Manager, Sales Team, and direct report team members
• Identify and solve problems for the division, and know when to reach out for assistance
• Oversee and perform quality control over the division’s accounts
• Purchase all product needed for the division
• Schedule crews
• Understand all contracts and work orders
• Enhance sales or upsell current customers

Work Conditions
• Ability to work with hand tools, small engine equipment, and materials
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift

• Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
Minimum Requirements
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Must possess a valid driver’s license (and able to attain a chauffeurs license and medical card)
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to follow safe working procedures
Wage Range
Based on education, certifications, and experience. Starting at: $23.00/hr
