Brush Hog
The term brush hog comes from the first rotary cutting or rough cut mower, and originated with the company that invented it. The brand name is used to describe a type of mowing that uses heavy-duty mowing to clear overgrown land that’s relatively clear and not strewn with large rocks or tree stumps. Brush hogging can chew up tall weeds, brush, and saplings up to 1 inch in diameter.
