Position Overview
This position is a seasonal (April - November) full-time position. The Spray Technician is a certified commercial pesticide applicator with an understanding of turf grass nutritional needs, potential problems, and the ability to communicate any turf concerns to the Maintenance Division Manager. This position has a pre-determined route of contracted clients and works with minimal supervision. The maintenance division focuses on the maintenance of turf and landscaping of residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
Spray commercial pesticide applications
Communicate professionally with Esch clients & team members
Employ proper safety precautions
Identify problems for the division, and know when to reach out for assistance
Complete daily logs accurately and timely
Work Conditions:
Ability to work with hand tools, small engine equipment, and materials
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds
Requires good manual dexterity
Excellent stamina is required
Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
Qualifications:
Chauffer’s License Required (able to attain a chauffeurs license and medical card), Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred
State certified to apply necessary chemicals
Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
Wage Range: Based on education, certifications, and experience.
